Drupal is a content management system for making websites. This website is built on Drupal. You can make your own website based on Drupal at Drupal Gardens. Take a look at the samplers to see what others have done with Drupal. I find the Drupal Gardens set-up better than that of Google sites but I may be biased as I am used to working with the Drupal system.

If you move around from computer to computer and normally find you are connected to the internet maybe you could do all your computer work via a web browser. Google Apps gives you things like email, online document creation and sharing and space for websites. Of course you can use gmail for free but apps gives you more control. It costs $US50 per email account per year. It could even prove to be a good place to keep your website.

This site is built using Drupal. I originally used the Acquia Drupal package as it contains a number of commonly used modules as well as the main Drupal installation files.
